First, our artisan twists the colors together to produce the soft blue heather yarn used for this style. She then hand-crochets the base of the bag in a pinwheel pattern. Each patch is crocheted separately, then joined together through a raised crochet edge. The center panels receive an additional layer in the form of a triangle, representing the element of air. |
